It’s hard to imagine enjoying ground coffee, cafe latte, espresso, or a favorite snack elsewhere if Starbucks is your go-to coffee shop, not forgetting the free Wi-Fi. If you have been planning a trip to Catalina Island with all this in mind, unfortunately, there is no Starbucks on the island.

Is there a Starbucks Coffee on Catalina Island?

As a Starbucks coffee lover, you must be worried whether you will get your usual coffee treat or an equivalent at Catalina Island. I recently visited the beautiful island and discovered a few gems that serve great Catalina coffee, including one serving a Starbucks coffee.

You can still enjoy great coffee, juices, frappuccino beverages, pastries, and snacks. They may not necessarily taste like what you are used to at Starbucks, but there are a few great coffee shops on the island that you would want to consider. Below are some coffee spots on Catalina Island:

Scoops Catalina Island Creamery 

Located just before the Green Pleasure Pier, Scoops is the only restaurant on Catalina Island that serves Starbucks coffee. The creamery has a Starbucks menu serving your favorite original classic coffees such as Cafe Americano, Cafe Late, Cafe Mocha, and Cappuccino.

They also serve signature coffees such as Caramel Macchiato, Matcha Green Tea Latte, White Chocolate Mocha, and Shaken Espresso. If blended frappuccino is your favorite, the creamery has a great variety, including mocha, caramel, java chip, vanilla bean, and coffee frappuccino.

Scoops has reached great heights to ensure patrons experience a Starbucks experience at Catalina Island. If coffee is not your thing, they have several alternatives, such as hot chocolate, Teavana chai latte, Teavana hot tea, and Teavana honey citrus mint tea.

For refreshers, they serve strawberry acai refresher, pink drink refresher, and mango dragon fruit refresher. You can enjoy your drink with various add-ons, including syrup, shot, cold foam, steamed milk, almond, coconut, soy, and oat. The creamery is also known for rich Italian gelato, ice cream, and desserts.

Catalina Island Brew House 

The coffee and brew house serves hot and iced coffee every morning. They have freshly roasted cappuccino lattes and espressos and their in-house coffee branded, dancing goats blend, and French roast. Their milk alternatives include oat, coconut, soy, and almond milk. The joint also serves hot and iced teas.

Whether you love your tea black or white or enjoy green and oolong teas, you will be spoilt for choice. They also have in-house made pastries and breakfast sandwiches, freshly made every morning. The restaurant offers a stunning view of the Avalon Harbor and is open every day at 7 a.m. for your convenience.

Catalina Coffee and Cookie 

This is another great coffee spot serving gourmet coffee. The restaurant serves Espresso, cappuccino, lattes, mochas, and coffee by the pound. You will also enjoy hot and iced teas, frozen concoctions, and freshly baked patties.

In a nutshell, there’s no Starbucks on Catalina Island, but there are plenty of things to do on Catalina Island. You can still enjoy your favorite Starbucks coffee at Scoops Catalina Creamery. A few more joints sell rich and creamy coffee.
